Hello! I'm Adriane Wilson, and I've discovered that our family stories hold profound healing power. Through my work as the founder of the Family Heart Project, I've witnessed how the simple act of sharing stories can bridge generational gaps and create lasting connection.

My journey has taught me that every family, including my own, has wisdom waiting to be uncovered from what we all think is "NORMAL". 🟠 What is the Family Heart Series?

The Family Heart Series is a private and personal, guided video storytelling journey for your family. You’ll receive thoughtful prompts quarterly to respond to with short video clips or photos, and we’ll turn them into a short, cinematic episode that celebrates your family’s voice, humor, values, and connection.

🟠 How does it work?

It’s simple and low-pressure:

You sign up and invite your family members who want to participate (we call you the Main Cast) into a private Studio Hub.

We send out prompts, light guidance, and support.

Each member replies to the prompts right in the hub in short clips or photos when they’re ready.

Our editors create your family’s custom video episode!

You receive a beautiful film to watch, save, and share.

Each “season” includes four quarterly episodes that are different genres and themes to keep it fun and exciting!

You'll have two months to respond to 5-7 prompts in an episode. Then we'll upload the footage and images from your Studio Hub and get to work using our intuitive filmmaking skills to weave your story together into something you'll love to watch and pass on!

🟠 Who should sign up?

Families with at least 4 active contributors tend to have the best experience. Whether you're spread across the country or living down the street, the Family Heart Series helps bring your stories together—organically and meaningfully.

The Main Cast must be 18 years or older. They are the family members that will participate on a regular basis in the series. Any footage or images of younger members, considered Special Guests, must be approved by the parents.

There are many opportunities to invite other Special Guest members' input in the episodes and is encouraged. We definitely want Grandpa Jo's barbecue magic even if he's not part of the Main Cast.

🟠 Do all family members need to participate in every episode?

Nope! Participation is flexible. You’ll have “Main Cast” members who receive prompts regularly, and others can join as “Special Guests” when the moment feels right. Not everyone needs to respond to every prompt for the episode to come together beautifully.

🟠 What if we’re not tech-savvy?

No worries. All you need is a smartphone and the ability to record short clips or photos. We’ll guide you step-by-step and keep things as easy as possible. If your family needs extra help, we’re here for that too.

🟠 Are these films AI-generated?

Nope. These episodes are made from

real family footage, voices, and moments

—not AI-generated people or scripts.

That said, we do use

some light AI tools behind the scenes

to help with editing (like transcriptions, music suggestions, or visual cleanup), but your family's story is shaped by

human hands and hearts - always.

🟠 Is this a public series? Will other people see our videos?

Not at all. Your family’s episodes are private and only shared with the people you choose. The final videos can be hosted on a private, unlisted YouTube link or downloaded and saved. Your family, your show, your legacy.

The footage you upload to the Studio Hub will remain there as an archive and you can download or delete it any time.

🟠 What do we actually receive?

Each episode is a custom-edited video created from your family’s contributions. Think: part documentary, part love letter, part time capsule.

You’ll also receive gentle prompts, guidance, and an optional watch party experience for each episode.

🟠 How often do we get new prompts?

You’ll receive a small set of prompts at the beginning of each quarter - just enough to inspire, not overwhelm. You’ll always know what to do, and there’s no pressure to be perfect or profound. The timing is kind of like the seasonal change of drinks at your coffee shop. Just enough to keep things exciting!

🟠 Can we do this if our family is spread out or includes step-families?

Yes! The Family Heart Series was created

for modern families

—blended, long-distance, multi-generational, you name it. Each hub is private, and you choose who to include. Some families even create multiple hubs for different sides.

🟠 What if we miss a deadline?

You won’t get in trouble! While we do have soft deadlines to help with editing schedules, late submissions can often be included in future episodes or bonus reels. We’re flexible—just let us know what you need.
